Negotiations Update - Successor Contract July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014

The District contract openers for the GFCCE – Certificated and Classified and CSEA Classified bargaining units were presented at the February 8, 2011 Board meeting. The GFCCE – Certificated and Classified bargaining units presented their contract openers at a public board meeting in February and March 2011.

GFCCE - Classified Unit: 

The District and the GFCCE negotiating committees so far have met on February 23 March 11, March 31, April 12, May 6, and May 16, May 25, June 10 and June 17 and August 24, 2011 in negotiations for a successor labor contract for the Classified Unit. The parties have drafted a Tentative Agreement signed by both parties on August 24, 2011.

On September 13, 2011 the board ratified the tentative agreement (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014) for the GFCCE – Classified bargaining unit. Please see link: Approve Ratification of Tentative Agreeent for GFCCE-Classified Contract - July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014

GFCCE - Certificated Unit: 

The District and the GFCCE negotiating committees so far have met on March 16, March 25, April 11, May 5, and May 10 and May 20 and June 20 and August 26, 2011 in negotiations for a successor labor contract for the Certificated Unit. The parties drafted a Tentative Agreement signed by both parties on August 26, 2011.

On September 13, 2011 the board ratified the tentative agreement (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014) for the GFCCE – Certificated bargaining unit. Please see link: Approve Ratification of Tentative Agreeent for GFCCE-Certificated Contract - July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014

CSEA – Classified Unit: The District and the CSEA negotiating committees met May 24, 2011 for negotiations for the CSEA Unit successor labor contract. The District and CSEA bargaining unit’s openers were presented and accepted by the board.

On July 12, 2011 the CSEA and board approved the ratification of Tentative Agreement for CSEA Contract - July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014
